Fatima completed her LLB (Hons) from the University of London and joined ILC as a coordinator in 2017. She worked at the Attorney General’s Office of the Supreme Court for a year preceding that, working on cases as well as the International Legal Conferences that were held on behalf of the Government of Pakistan. She worked intently with the African Prisoners Project in 2017 in which she was a direct teacher for students of UOL in a prison in Kenya. She then worked in an NGO by the name of CODE Pakistan in three of its projects mainly based on the National Action Plan of “the Revamping of the Criminal Justice System” It further focused on the overcrowding of Pakistani prisons, advocating against the death sentence for the mentally incapable individuals who were imprisoned without proper legal representation.”
